Summary: We checked in and given the key cards and went to the room. Walked in the room which was dark and noticed a large lump in the bed and at first thought somebody was there and freaked out a bit. Realized that it was a mound of sheets and pillows. The room hadn’t been cleaned. Went back to the lobby and the clerk put us in another room. She was very apologetic and nice. I have stayed here, because it is normally quiet, because it’s built from concrete and brick. I have noticed that the Hotel could stand for updates. Painting, tile work, lamp shades it’s getting very worn and grungy looking. The pillows are the smallest pillows I have ever seen in a hotel. They are like throw pillows!!! If they are the pillows that are going to be used, there should be at least 6 of them on a King size bed. Because of the grungy aesthetic we are considering looking for a new Hotel in the area when we visit family there.
