Positive: Everything was perfect: - Location: the house is huge, sufficient for 2 or even 3 families (2 separate living rooms, 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms). It is located uphill, has a beautiful view over Guardea town and valley and thanks to elevated location, you can feel a pleasant breeze even during hottest days. You can see from there Montefiascone and beyond, which is over 30km away. There are no neighbors, so it's totally peaceful and quiet, yet the town is just 2 minutes away by car. You can also reach Orvieto within 35 minutes or other beautiful small towns like Amelia in even shorter time. Guardea itself has a couple of bars, a good pizzeria and a decent supermarket. - Surroundings: garden is very big and well taken care of, with plenty of olive trees and other nice plants. - Standard: in reality the house looks better than on the pictures, it is very well equipped and maintained. - Host: Flaviano is a very friendly and helpful host, always available if there is a need. - Swimming pool: big, deep and well maintained, with extraordinary view and illumination, so you can use it even at night. There is even an external jacuzzi! - Barbecue: there is a barbecue place, or actually an external kitchen, with a table for 10 people, so you can prepare food and dine outside. Overall, we loved L'Asparagina and would definitely come back!

Negative: The house is not brand new, so there is a slight need of some small repairs here and there, but nothing major and in gerenal the house is very well maintained. Don't expect a particularly fast internet, so if you are planning to work remotely during vacation, it could be a bit frustrating. There is also no A/C, which is not a problem on the ground floor, which remains cool even during heatwaves, however it can get pretty hot in the bedroom on the top floor.
