Enjoy the beauty and serenity of Post Lake year round. This lovely lake shore home offers modern conveniences surrounded by north woods ambiance and provides the ideal setting for a family or several couples to enjoy relaxation by the water..100' frontage.
Our 2-story home consists of a main, upper floor with a modern, fully-furnished kitchen featuring many additional counter-top appliances. The living room w/ fireplace provides a cozy spot for gatherings. Large windows offer a beautiful view of the bay with a changing panorama, depending on the season. Our home includes 3 grills...a large infrared gas grill, a large kettle grill and a charcoal/wood chip smoker grill, along with patio furniture and a screened, gazebo encased picnic table . Central air conditioning maintains your comfort during the summer months and a 3-zone furnace keeps you warm during the colder months.
In addition to the kitchen and living /dining room with a fireplace and flat screen satellite TV, the main floor consists of the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a king-size bed and a full bathroom with a bath/shower and a chair height toilet.
The lower, walk-out level consists of a mini kitchen/bar, a family (Green Bay Packer) room with twin beds, a bedroom with a full bed, a roll-away bed, a full bathroom, washer/dryer and an enclosed porch overlooking the lake. In addition, there is a flat screen satellite TV.
The property has a large U-shaped dock with a bench for fishing or relaxing. There is a boat rental service on Post Lake and, of course, you are welcome to bring your own boat. The public ramp/access is just beyond the channel (about 1/2 mile) and you are welcome to moor your boat at the dock.
Additional amenities include a large log swing and a fire pit amidst a spacious yard. In addition to the great views, we fell in love with our lake home for many reasons: the ease of access (on a county highway); the location to dining establishments (there are supper clubs within walking distance...1 1/2 blocks in either direction, along with many others within the many communities; shopping opportunities in Elcho, Antigo, Crandon, Rhinelander, etc and, we are across the highway from a state snowmobile/ATV trail. It's, also, a great trail for walking a dog. The Post Lake Dam Park (3/4 mile down the trail) is not only beautiful, but many fish have been caught there. For those who love to golf, there are a number of golf courses in the area.
