Summary: Great location with a nice atmosphere, but service at reception was very disappointing. Before arrival I tried arranging airport transport via the hotel’s WhatsApp, but only received automated replies. They finally responded on the day of arrival, saying they couldn’t provide transport. Thankfully, we found a great taxi driver at the airport. Check-in went smoothly, but they forgot to give us wristbands, which caused issues the next day. We stayed in a tipi, which was clean with a comfortable bed, though we weren’t told how loud the music would be at night. It didn’t bother us much, but if you want peace and quiet, this isn’t the place. The restaurant and pool staff were very friendly, and the common areas were great. However, when we asked reception to book a taxi for our whale watching trip, communication (via Google Translate) failed. They said a driver would contact us, but no one did. In the morning there was no taxi, so we missed the prepaid tour. The manager did offer us a complimentary lunch, which was appreciated.
