Located in a quiet street, this beachy 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house is spread out over 2 levels and comes with an open-plan living space, a wraparound patio with alfresco furniture and tranquil views. There’s also a nursery offering a cot and change table, with safety gates available for toddlers and pets. Perfectly located, it’s a short walk to Avalon Beach, shops, eateries, a Woollies Metro supermarket and eateries, with the beaches at Bilgola, Newport and Palm Beach only a short drive away.
The Space:
Make your way down a leafy garden pathway and you’ll first arrive at a stone paved patio area with a table setting and weber barbecue. Proceed into the house’s entrance hall and to the left you’ll see a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen space with polished floorboards and plantation shutters. The living area has a comfy sofa and chairs, a coffee table, a rug for winter comfort, large ‘smart’ TV and a gas heater. The nearby dining area has a marble-topped table seating 6-8 people and flows through to a well-equipped kitchen offering a family-sized fridge, Bosch dishwasher, gas cooktop, wall oven, Smeg under-bench microwave and a Delonghi coffee maker. Large glass sliding doors lead out to a wraparound porch with an alfresco lounge suite and other outdoor seating, all overlooking tranquil greenery.
Back inside the house, to the right of the front door, you’ll find a study/home office area, beyond which is a carpeted master bedroom with a king sized bed, occasional chair, wall-mounted ‘smart’ TV, ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe and sliding doors that take you out to the wraparound porch. There’s also a carpeted nursery on this level, set up with a cot and change table, as well as its own glass sliding door opening out to the porch (note there is no door for this room). A light-filled master bathroom is also on this floor and has a roomy shower, with separate toilet right next door.
Downstairs you’ll find 2 more carpeted bedrooms, both with ceiling fans. One bedroom comes with a queen sized bed while the other has a double bed and glass-sliding doors leading out to a covered stone-paved area. There’s a laundry room on this level, providing an LG washing machine and separate dryer, as well as a toilet and shower. Outside, there’s also a lawn area, herb garden and cold alfresco shower, perfect for washing off sand after the beach.
Note: the house is pet friendly upon application, with pet gates available (for toddlers too!)
The Neighborhood:
Situated 36 kilometres north-east of Sydney’s CBD (Downtown), Avalon is a relaxed, beachy suburb in Sydney’s Northern Beaches district. The house itself is perfectly located, just a short stroll to Avalon beach (under 10 minutes) and only a couple of minutes further to a Woolworths Metro supermarket. Eateries, the Avalon surf club, rock pool (sea pool) and golf course are all walking distance away, with Bilgola Beach, Whale Beach, Newport Beach and Palm Beach all under 10 minutes by car away.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*This is a pet friendly property. You may bring your furry or feathered family member for an additional $100 per pet surcharge fee, Prior to check in please confirm pet type and breed.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
