Travel Purpose: business

Positive: I liked that the hotel was a 5-min walk away from the conference building, and that it was very easy to access via Uber when I needed to work outside of Century City. My room had a lovely sunset view which I enjoyed daily. I also liked that I could order room service from Umami, the restaurant located at Century City Urban Hotel. When I decided to go down for breakfast, the food with the view was enjoyable. I opted for the sit-in supper once and the food was tasty.

Negative: During my stay, I found that only the two people who assisted me when I checked in would greet me as I passed reception daily to work and back if they were on duty. Being away from home on a solo trip, a smile and nod would be appreciated. Nevertheless, the staff was overall friendly when spoken to. Although the water in the room was replenished daily, the same cannot be said about the tea station. Unfortunately the cold wet weather called for the frequent tea and hot chocolate, and I needed to follow-up with reception after my request was not actioned. There is no variety with the breakfast, and having booked for 7 nights, I opted to only have breakfast on 3 mornings.

Summary: I would return to Century City Hotel Bridgewater, albeit for a shorter stay.
