The building has not been restored for tourists. In fact, genuine families of the place live in it. The entrance and the staircase of the building are not well-kept or elegant. The place will definitely please you if you are looking not for luxury but for a means of getting in touch with the real way of living of the inhabitants of Sorrento.
During your stay at Casa Agostinoyou will also be a few feet away from some of the oldest and most fascinating places in Sorrento, such as the Duomo (Cathedral), the Chiostro (Cloister) of S. Francesco, and the Villa Comunale (City Gardens).
