A stunning recently renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located in the Oltrarno, with an incredible panoramic view of the Arno river. This property is ideal for short -term tourist rentals, as well as long term stays.
The apartment is located in Lungarno Soderini 35, in a tranquil residential zone but very close to the historical centre of Florence. All major tourist attractions are only 10-15 minutes away, which you can reach on foot by taking a relaxing walk along the river. The apartment has free private parking – a very rare and valuable feature in central Florence. It is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator, but not very challenging stairs.
The entire property was completely renovated and restyled in 2016 in an elegant and sophisticated manner. Due to the numerous large windows facing the river, the apartment is beautifully filled with light all day. There are parquet floors throughout the entire apartment, and AC in all rooms. Despite its modern look, the owner has made the conscious choice of highlighting some classical features – in addition to the various art pieces across in the common spaces, the bedrooms are furnished in a classical style and their walls and ceilings are hand painted personally by the owner.
As you enter the apartment you find yourself in a large open space which combines a living room, dining room and kitchen. There are wooden beams exposed on the very high ceiling which contribute to the more traditional Florentine style. The color scheme is predominantly in the white palette, with tasteful blue details incorporated. In the middle of this living room space, there is a large table for 6 with a glass chandelier above it. There is also a couch, a wooden cabined and a TV. The kitchen is completely equipped with all the comforts of a real home, including a dishwasher, oven and a large fridge.
The two main bedrooms are next to each other and about the same size – they both have double mattresses. Both of them are bright and are hand painted personally by the owner. There are large closets in both bedrooms that would be ideal even for a long term stay. The downstairs bathroom, right next to the bedrooms, is equipped with a glass shower and a dryer.
The upstairs space can is up 15 stairs. There you find yourself in a large attic, which is currently prepared as a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds that can be made into a double. However, this space can also serve as a playroom for kids, a second living room space or even a study based on the needs of guests. There is a desk and a wooden chair, as well as a couple bean bag chairs, a couch and storage space.
The second bathroom, renovated and with a glass shower, is upstairs. Right next to it, there is a second smaller attic with a couch, a desk and chair and further storage – it can be used for various group activities. Attached to it is a small room that contains all the cleaning supplies and washing machine.
